Often you have one device already connected to the WiFi network, and need to sign another device to the same network. But the password is lost. Here is a hack how to recover it.
Android
On android you can just navigate to the network in WiFi settings and click share icon. you will get QR code to be shared directly or there will be a password clearly spelled in the bottom of QR code.
PC
On pc it is not as easy, but still doable most of the time:
Open cmd and type the following
netsh wlan show profile name="YOUR_WIFI_NAME" key=clear
Look for
Key Content : your_password_here
